Klyde Warren Park, named after a billionaire's son

Recent, practical and attractive, this urban green space is the pride of Dallas.

You dreamed of a refreshing pause between two visits? You will find a great place for a break in Klyde Warren Park, named after the young son of billionaire Kelcy Warren. Ideally located at the intersection of Downtown, Uptown and the Arts District, this two-hectare green space, opened in 2012, was built above the underground section of the Woodall Rodgers Freeway. Dallas residents immediately fell in love with this green space and come to relax during the day on the huge rectangular lawn or under the trees. Children love playing in the many playgrounds and adults take yoga classes or even Zumba (a mix of Latin dance and fitness) near the Muse Family Performance Pavilion. The park also hosts concerts and theatre performances throughout the year. Head to the Nancy Collins Fisher Pavilion for a bite to eat. You can enjoy your meal or snack on the grass with an excellent view of the Dallas skyscrapers.
