Barceló Torre de Madrid, on the cutting edge of design

Barceló Torre de Madrid enjoys an ideal location in Madrid's most emblematic building, on top of a particularly refined decoration.

This very trendy hotel takes up the first nine floors of the Torre Madrid, one of the highest buildings in Spain. Madrid designer Jaime Hayón strove to create cool interiors, using clear tones on the walls and adding his personal touch here and there for an element of fun and surprise: for instance, the sculpture of a stripped bear cub towers over the ground floor. You will also make the best of the huge chrome indoor swimming pool to cool off during Madrid's heat waves. The 258 rooms add refinement to modernity. They all showcase solid wood floors and the designer's signature "monkey table". Furthermore, they all offer spectacular views of the city, great vantage point to admire the sunset over the entire region.
If you feel hungry, head to the Somos restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. Light comes through huge picture windows, as the establishment offers a varied menu - carefully elaborated by nutritionist and food designer Vanessa Losada - that has rapidly become a fancy Madrid hallmark. A pure delight!
